John Squire is a General Partner at Blockchange Ventures, a venture capital firm aiming to invest early in the biggest outcomes on the Blockchain. Founded in 2017, Blockchange invests in Seed and Series A rounds.
John started his career in Chemical Engineering at Chevron and then moved into the early internet based technology growth in Silicon Valley. He founded, built and sold multiple SaaS analytical and AI based companies over 20 years. He served on the IBM Privacy Council, National Retail Federation Digital Council and advised multiple venture backed start-ups from inception to acquisition.
At Blockchange Ventures, John is part of the investment committee, fundraising team, and focuses on enabling founders and Executive teams to design and deploy go-to-market strategies that build on product market fit in new categories of business that could not exist without the blockchain.
John received his MBA with honors from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and graduated with highest honors from University of California at Davis with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
