Stephen is the co-head of Polsinelli’s Chambers-ranked FinTech and Blockchain practice, with a
focus on the intersection of special situations investing, lending, and digital assets. He advises
investors, issuers, underwriters, lenders, and startups on the evolving use of blockchain,
cryptocurrency, and Web3 technologies. Stephen is the named author of a key letter to the
administration on blockchain policy and is known for his work on crypto insolvency matters,
tokenized asset strategies, and lending transactions. He founded the Miami hub of the
Blockchain Lawyers Forum and is the founder of and regular contributor to Polsinelli’s BitBlog.
Stephen is admitted to practice in Florida, New York, and as a solicitor in England & Wales. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and holds a Certificate in
